Therapy for an uncertain world
And I’m glad you’re here.
Hey there! I’m Kayla!
The ground keeps shifting, the noise keeps rising, and the person you thought you were becoming feels harder to find. Sound familiar? You're in the right place.
You’re not a problem to be solved.
You're already doing it all. Work, school, home — and somehow the mental load of all of it follows you everywhere, even into the hours that are supposed to be yours. Every task comes weighted with expectations: deadlines, standards, the quiet but relentless voice that tells you it should have been done better, faster, differently. You're keeping up, mostly. But there's a growing distance between who you are right now and the truest version of yourself you know is in there somewhere — the one who used to paint, or read, or actually feel present in a conversation. You know something's off. And all the articles, podcasts, and YouTube rabbit holes in the world have given you a lot of frameworks but haven't quite touched it.
Here's the thing: you don't need another thing to optimize. Therapy isn't a productivity hack or a box to check or a problem to be researched into submission. Instead of fixing yourself, it's an investment in understanding yourself with someone who isn't going anywhere. You don't have to show up with the right words or a clear agenda or a performance-ready version of yourself. You just have to show up. We'll figure out the rest together.

I most often work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and the particular exhaustion that comes from feeling like you've lost the thread of who you are.
I have a special interest in working with creative and neurodivergent people who have spent a lifetime feeling like they don't quite fit the mold — and are ready to stop trying to.

You probably wouldn't be reading this if some part of you wasn't already ready. The people who benefit most from therapy are often the ones who have a sense that something is off and enough curiosity to want to understand it. You don't need to have it figured out before you reach out. That's what we're here to do together. If you're on the fence, the best thing you can do is schedule a consultation and see how it feels. No commitment required.

Every client is different, so there's no single answer here. For some people, fewer sessions do the trick. Others find that ongoing therapeutic support over a longer period of time is more helpful. We'll spend time understanding not just what's happening but why: the patterns, the history, the places where you keep getting stuck. Sessions are collaborative and conversation-based. There's no worksheet waiting for you, no homework unless it feels useful, and no predetermined path.

It's worth asking why. Each therapist approaches the work differently and sometimes, we need different approaches at different times in our lives. A bad fit is data about what you need. If previous therapy felt too surface-level, too structured, or like you were going through the motions without anything really shifting, that's useful to bring into a consultation. It tells us something about where to start.
